OUR STORY
Apex Golf started in a very familiar way - a group of friends “trying” to play nine holes on Sunday mornings at a local par-3 course. Unfortunately, the British weather often had other plans. Rounds were regularly cancelled due to rain or poor course conditions, and as relatively new golfers, traditional courses could sometimes feel a little intimidating.
One rained-off round led us to try an indoor golf simulator for the first time — and that completely changed things.
We immediately saw the benefits. The data, video playback and ball-tracking technology provided insights you simply don’t get on a driving range or golf course. “Feel vs real” quickly became apparent — swings that felt good often looked very different on screen. Improvement suddenly became clearer, faster and far more engaging. Being able to see club-face strike, swing path and ball flight data transformed practice from guesswork into genuine progress.
It also highlighted a wider gap:
• Beginners needed a relaxed, private environment to learn without pressure.
• More experienced golfers wanted meaningful feedback beyond what a traditional range can offer.
• Busy people needed flexible ways to play without committing half a day to a full round.
• And everyone enjoyed the social side — golf is entertainment as much as sport.
From that moment, the idea behind Apex Golf began to grow.
Over the last year, we’ve carefully developed the concept - focusing on premium technology, thoughtful design, accessibility for all skill levels, and a welcoming environment where golf can be enjoyed year-round regardless of weather, daylight or time pressures.
Apex Golf isn’t about replacing traditional golf — it’s about enhancing it:
• Practice smarter
• Play more often
• Improve faster
• Enjoy the game in a modern, social setting
Practice | Play | Compete
